Spiecapag has an enviable safety record, made possible by an innovative approach to managing new and complex risks. All employees are empowered to assess their work-site risks and to implement appropriate controls. Employees are also encouraged to innovate new ideas and continually improve the controls and management of risks.

Since September 2012, over 30 million hours have been worked in our projects without accidents leading to stoppage. We see this as evidence that our use of high-performance Health and Safety Management Plans, combined with a determined and consistent Safety policy, leads to a successful project.

Playing our part in strengthening communities and social development

Spiecapag has a long tradition of supporting and engaging local business, individuals and traditional landowners in delivering its projects. In support of this commitment, Spiecapag developed and implemented a Capacity Building Program on its remote projects. A key fundamental of this program is working with communities – often assisting individuals to become job-ready before work even starts – to ensure lasting benefits in terms of employment and commercial opportunities that endure beyond the time-frame of the project.

Spiecapag works closely with the Indigenous Groups in selecting programs and projects that have long-term sustainability economic benefits to the community.

Plant and equipment

In-house fleet of specialised pipeline plant & equipment

Spiecapag’s in-house, specialist pipeline plant is overseen by our experienced project managers and site supervisors, streamlining mobilisation and efficient use of resources.

Our in-house plant includes specialised pipeline construction equipment such as pipelayers, pipe benders and horizontal drilling rigs.

The C3++ or “Excellent” rating reflects the company’s capacity to honour its financial commitments, and is the top rating awarded by the Bank of France.
